Biography
dr. Ida Ayu Trisna Kumala Dewi, Sp.Onk.Rad is an experienced radiation oncologist with a strong focus on patient safety and therapeutic efficacy. dr. Trisna obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Wijaya Kusuma Surabaya University, Indonesia, in 2013 and completed her specialist training in radiation oncology at the University of Indonesia in 2020. Following her specialisation, she joined Bali Mandara Regional General Hospital as a radiation oncologist and expanded her clinical practice to Kasih Ibu General Hospital in 2023.
In addition to her core clinical work, dr. Trisna is dedicated to continuous clinical advancement and has acquired specialised international training. In 2017, she completed the ESTRO School Teaching course in Singapore. Recently in 2024 - 2026, she completed IVRA Korea Seoul, the ESTRO School Teaching in Singapore. She has also undergone advanced simulation-based medical training for multiple brain metastases with the Indonesian Radiation Oncology Society (IROS).
As a radiation oncologist, dr. Trisna has special interests in Central Nervous System malignancy, Pediatrics cancer, Breast cancer, Genitourinary cancer, Gynecologic cancer and is experienced in applying advanced radiation therapy techniques, including Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT), to achieve precise and effective clinical outcomes. She complements this technical excellence with a compassionate, patient-centred approach, ensuring care that is both highly personalised and reassuring.
Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesian, dr. Trisna is ready to support her patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they get the best possible care.
