Biography
dr. I Gusti Agung Ayu Jayanthi Wulan Utami (dr. Gea) is a radiation oncologist with clinical interest in gynecologic and genitourinary malignancies and advanced radiotherapy techniques, including brachytherapy.
After her medical degree from Universitas Udayana in 2016, dr. Gea pursued and completed her residency in Radiation Oncology at Universitas Indonesia in 2023. During her undergraduate medical education, she was selected to undertake a fellowship in General Medicine within the Respiratory Department at Shinshu University, Japan, in 2014.
In addition to her clinical practice, dr. Gea has a strong interest in clinical research and evidence-based medicine. She has been actively involved in the coordination and management of multicentre clinical studies, contributing to the advancement of oncology knowledge and the implementation of high-quality research standards.
Fluent in both English and Indonesian, dr. Gea integrates academic specialisation, international training, and clinical research management into her practice. Her strong technical foundation enables her to deliver precise radiotherapy treatments in line with international protocols while maintaining a patient-centred approach.
