Biography
dr. Ryan Yudistiro is a renowned specialist in molecular theranostic and nuclear oncology with more than 15 years of experience. His subspecialties are PET/CT oncology and radionuclide therapy.
dr. Ryan obtained his MD in Universitas Pelita Harapan, Indonesia, in 2007, before completing his specialist training in Nuclear Medicine at Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia in 2012. He later pursued his Ph.D degree in 2014-2018 at Gunma University, Japan.
Prior to joining Icon, dr. Ryan was the head of the Nuclear Medicine department in MRCCC Siloam Hospitals Semanggi.
To stay at the forefront of the latest advancements in nuclear medicine, dr. Ryan has completed elite specialist residencies across Europe. From perfecting hybrid PET diagnostic techniques in University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland, to advancing targeted Nuclear Theranostics at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, his training ensures patients have access to the most sophisticated cancer treatments available today. He also underwent a short-course in radionuclide therapy in Antony-van Leeuweenhoek/Nederland Kanker Institute in Amsterdam and in Klinikum Franfurt (Odre), Germany, enabling him a level of precision and care that meets international benchmarks.
As an accomplished researcher and clinician, dr. Ryan has published widely in international journals on nuclear oncology and molecular theranostics. His work has received significant industry recognition, including the 2019 Best Paper of the Year award from the Kitakanto Medical Journal and the Best Poster Presentation prize at the 2023 Nuclear Medicine Update in Singapore.
