Biography
Dr Renny is an experienced medical oncologist and haematologist, with around 10 years of expertise in treating a wide range of cancers and blood disorders. She earned her medical degree from the University of Hang Tuah in 2003 and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Udayana University, receiving board certification in 2009.
Driven by a deep passion for oncology and blood disorders, she completed a consultancy program in Medical Oncology and Haematology in 2016. Her commitment to advancing the field culminated in the completion of her PhD at Udayana University in 2021, where her research focused on novel prognostic markers in cancer patients.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Renny is an active researcher, having authored numerous scientific articles and journals on topics such as solid malignancies, blood disorders and hematologic conditions. As a strong advocate of lifelong learning and academic collaboration, she frequently speaks at national and international conferences and often serves as an invited speaker or session chair.
She is an active member of several professional organisations, including European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), Indonesian Society of Hematology and Medical Oncology (ISHMO), Indonesian Oncology Association (POI), Association of Indonesian Internal Medicine Specialists (PAPDI, Bali chapter), Indonesian Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (PHTDI). Through these networks, she had made significant contributions towards improving cancer care standards and advancing medical education in hematology and medical oncology.
Dr Renny is passionate about the evolving landscape of cancer treatment, including targeted therapies and immunotherapies, and is deeply committed to supportive care and quality-of-life measures that address the holistic needs of cancer patients throughout their treatment journey.
Dr Renny treats all types of cancer with special clinical interests in leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
Her clinical interest in haematology also spans a broad range of hematologic conditions, with a particular focus on anaemia and hemolytic disorders, transfusion medicine, and bleeding management.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, Dr Renny is ready to support her patients in these languages throughout their treatment journey.
